Meet The Chef
Karl's 25 years of experience began when he moved to the U.S. in 1999, but blossomed from his family's cooking growing up. His jobs in northern Michigan included, Former Head Chef at True North, Sous Chef Charlevoix Country Club, Kitchen Manager at Inn at Bay Harbor in the Sagamore Room and Head Chef of the Beach House at Bay Harbor Yacht Club. Karl's family was his inspiration to start Island Grillers that incorporated an allergy friendly menu. Today Karl is the Owner and Chef at Island Grillers. His team is a family business with his 12 and 13 year old daughters.
